Fiona is a chartered physiotherapist with over 20 years’ experience.
Fiona qualified with a Physiotherapy degree from the University of Brighton in 1996. Having worked for the NHS and the Army, she has extensive experience as a Physiotherapist in treating musculo-skeletal problems and has a particular interest in sports injuries and back problems.
Fiona is also trained with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and often used Pilates exercises in her clients’ home exercise programmes with a view to restoring correct core muscle function and preventing problems recurring. Therefore the decision to take a special interest in teaching Clinical Pilates was entirely natural.
Fiona joined Body Logic in 2015 as a certified Pilates Instructor. She also provides Women’s Health Physiotherapy and has undertaken specialist training in the management of female urinary incontinence with the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP).
In her spare time Fiona enjoys running, swimming and cycling and has experienced the benefits of Pilates on her own sporting performance in triathlon and with recovery from various injuries.
