She completed her training in Pilates with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute during her Osteopathic studies. With a background as a dancer, a dance teacher, a personal trainer and a yoga teacher, Maria has extensive experience of working with the body.
Maria’s clinical knowledge has given her a particular interest in rehabilitation Pilates therapy, and her training allows her to work effectively on the prevention and treatment of injury and dysfunction. She is interested in the maintenance of good structure and function, working to optimise all body systems.
Being both an Osteopath and a Pilates teacher, Maria can combine exercises with manual therapy, including Cranial Osteopathy, according to the clients’ needs. She is passionate about the benefits of a combined approach.
Being a mother of two young boys, Maria has taken an increased interest in post-natal Pilates and how to fit it into a busy lifestyle! She enjoys running with her labradoodle, outdoors family time and music.
