A graduate of the University of East London, Tom developed and broadened his core professional skills at a large NHS hospital in Hertfordshire, before specialising in the treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions at a major RAF training facility.
After travelling the world for a year, Tom returned to the UK and the NHS where he worked alongside colleagues developing waiting list initiatives and developing the careers of junior members of staff whilst managing a full patient caseload.
Tom then joined New Victoria Hospital where he now works as Deputy Manager. Here, Tom has been involved with service development and the rolling out of initiatives such as the patient journey, optimising the patient experience of physiotherapy. He also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation, which reinforced his belief that when it comes to physical health, strength underpins everything.
In his spare time Tom loves to listen to live music and stay active. He recently rode the Prudential Ride London 100, loves playing tennis and enjoys the camaraderie of the gruelling Tough Mudder.
